"Microlandscapes – Landscape Culture on the Move"
An Interdisciplinary Symposium on the Dynamics of Contemporary Landscape Concepts
Landscape did not disappear in consequence of global mobility and acceleration. But changing modes of movement are giving rise to new landscape concepts. Tourism, world wide web or migration infl uence contemporary„microlandscapes“ in terms of culture, ecology, aesthetics and politics.
Focussing the dynamics of landscape concepts the symposium opened up a forum for the visual and performing arts, film, landscape architecture and theory.
